Erin Fetherston Fall 2015
Erin by Erin Fetherston Fall/Winter 2014-2015 Collection – New York Fashion Week
Erin Fetherston’s fall/winter 2019 ready-to-wear showat New York Fashion Week was well worked, chic, worldly and richly colored. The inspiration for the designs came from traveling and paying attention to the intricate details she could intersperse throughout the designs. The influences can clearly be seen, working like seasoning to a dish adjusting and marrying the flavors together to create something beautiful.
There was a lot of dreamy movement that managed to accentuate the silhouette of the ensembles without distorting the figure. The colors used were rich as they were inspired by Moroccan elements like the warm shades of spices, like turmeric and paprika with hints of saffron showed up in prints and embellishments.
The range of fluttering multi length dresses and wide-leg pants worked with the crisp design to perfectly straddle the free feel of the bohemian silhouettes and the crisp chicness of the well edited and tailored pieces together.
American designer Erin Fetherston has a deeply devoted group of celebrity fans that wear her designs on whatever red carpet they most wish to impress on. Though she is known as a designer primarily, she is also credited as a photographer and has several short films and multimedia projects under her belt. The ability to keep so many things in mind at once without losing track of the final product has shown up in the Erin Fetherston fall/winter 2019 collection.
The collection as a whole has an aesthetic that is interesting and beautiful full of softly sifting shapes and complementary silhouettes. The balance throughout the collection is perfect, allowing for so many different elements to mesh and meld together beautifully for a stunning final product that is certain to sell well.
The shoes included in the collection were nothing short of special, shown to be influenced by North African pointed slippers. The inclusion of enough detail to note was intriguing, as some designers are known for blatantly taking an entire aesthetic and beating the audience over the head with it. The Erin Fetherston fall/winter 2019 RTW collection had more of an air of surety, including the elements necessary to create a worldly yet elegant appearance.
With brilliant use of neatly transported details from all over the world, she elevated normal pieces to make them extraordinary. The use of decorative scarves and tied elements is also worth note, as they are more than simple details; they are the details that draw the eye.
The very feminine collection was much more than just a collection of touches and additions but the identified details really played a heavy note overall. The variety of colors, textures and patterns was enough to purchase any of the incredible looks!

The entirety of theErin Fetherston spring/summer 2019 collectionhad everything from sparkling sequin covered pieces to smoothly floating weightless fabrics. The thought that went into every look was easy to appreciate, as each and every look was technically and aesthetically pleasing. These clothes move how many dream their clothes should move.
The dazzling sequin-covered pieces were not overdone, rather beautifully planned out with the shimmer and sparkle of the sequins drawing the eye in just the right way. This was true for all of the sequined pieces, rather than there being one or two that stood out well and the others just glittered.
A pair of peach colored wide legged pants shimmered from waistband to hems without looking like a disco ball. The same effect was seen on the jumper and ensemble pieces, which shows great planning and implementation.
There were floating dresses abound in several different lengths, fabrics and in some cases matching sheer with smooth fabrics for great effect. The colors were light but fierce, working beautifully with the exquisite silhouettes that managed to float around the body without appearing too oversized and maintaining flattering lines. There are even long slim, sparkling sequin covered scarves in this collection.
The accessories complemented rather than overpowered, meaning they were perfectly selected to be just enough. They stood out, as did the sandals, though they were not the feature. The midnight blue strappy floor-length dress was also interesting in shape but primarily color. The blue was dark and rich while still appearing soft, which is amazing.
The Erin Fetherston spring/summer 2019 collection as a whole was eye opening in its array of fabrics and flow. The breathtaking display did not fall flat with a single piece, everything shone on its own and together as a cohesively designed and beautifully implemented addition to 2019 upcoming spring and summer fashions.
This is the type of collection where there is a look for every imaginable event, meeting or outing. Casual and dressy were represented, and all in a way that would draw the eye without overwhelming the wearer or anyone nearby.
Everything had a flow to it, even the suits, which could easily be seen as imposing came off more breathtaking than daunting. The lines of each suit were smooth, the cut flattering and accessories spot on.
The dresses both with and without sequins were similarly flattering and looked incredibly comfortable to wear. One of the biggest faults in fashion is that beauty does not always equal comfort, but it is more than evident that this would not be the case or a concern on any level with this collection.
In conclusion Erin Fetherston’s spring/summer 2019 collection was breathtaking from start to finish. There are many who are already excited to purchase their own favorite pieces if not the whole line. As a collection the feel and look were widely well received and each of the 27 looks was well appreciated and reviewed.

Self-proclaimed vintage lover and hopelessly romantic Erin Fetherston has just unveiled one of the most nostalgic collections of all time at New York Fashion Week. TheErin Fetherston fall/winter 2019-17 ready-to-wear collectionis, in fact, inspired by the designer’s sense of longing, originated from her first pregnancy (baby Fetherston is due in a few days!).
“It was a really nostalgic trip down memory lane. I rediscovered all these beloved pieces, and the memories attached to them. […] The fun of the treasure hunt got reawakened in me. I wanted the collection to capture that feeling, and to have that eclectic style to it,” she told , remembering those moments when it took months and months to find that perfect piece of clothing that could make you feel so special. She still does crave all those past years when fashion wasn’t ‘that’ fast and focused more on creativity and individuality, giving anyone more time to celebrate and work on style.
With that premise, her signature whimsical and feminine image and sensibility blossomed, serving us an array of autumnal hues and warm fabrics that will just melt any heart. To make things even more interesting, she even declared that some of these pieces were inspired by some of her own wardrobe essentials.
The color palette of the Erin Fetherston fall 2019 collection mainly focuses on reds and pinks, but in their more mature and darker forms, such as dusty pink and burgundy, which enhance their mysterious allure when combined with bold blacks and rich velvet materials. Even the brighter proposals exude such enigmatic vibes, taking advantage of the sinuous silky fabrics and crochet lace embroideries the looks often feature. Fetherston’s ability of combining colors is equally impressive as that of playing with different fabrics, which aside from velvet, crochet and silk include corduroy and black brocade attachments.
Infused with a “scrapbook vibe,” as Erin Fetherston likes to call it, the lineup also showcases some to-die-for boho-chic patterns, which effortlessly give the floor-length frocks some cool vintage touches. Midi and mini dresses alternate layered frills with waist-less cuts, making us frenetically travel back and forth in time from the Fifties to the late Seventies. Peek-a-boo cut-outs, roomy butterfly sleeves and covetable rounded clutches confirm Fetherston’s attention to detailing, making us feel emotionally unstable when near one of her modern-day-princess-worthy creations (one of her most enthusiastic followers is Zooey Deschanel, which basically says it all).
Erin Fetherston, who started her namesake label back in 2005, went couture before embracing ready-to-wear, meaning that her haute couture fantasy influences are still vivid within her RTW collections. The Erin Fetherston fall 2019 line-up also exudes some (even if not that strong) couture vibes, while still managing to be highly wearable and versatile.

Erin Fetherston is always a desired guest on the catwalk, as we have admired her perfect ethereal collections since the very first day of her appearance in the fashion world back in 2005. You probably know quite well that she prefers her comfort zone more to experiments, almost never going further to denim or manly silhouettes. However, you will be surprised quite positively at the sight of the very thrilling, soft and freshErin Fetherston spring/summer 2019 RTW collectionthat has a nice combination of “old and new”. Having a peculiar inspirational background of fresh images with countryside air from David Hamilton and Deborah Turbeville, the designer created an amazing super-wearable feminine lineup filled with both fresh daytime and romantic cocktail looks.
The opening look of the show is a bright orange dress on a youthful and natural looking model that creates the carefree feel of a stroll in the countryside. Then other “angels” follow her mildly stepping in lightweight floral, white Spanish dotted, chiffon dresses, transparent blouses, long chiffon scarf dresses with deep cut V-neck, soft cotton shirt-frocks. Nice ankle-length navy culottes appeared here and there topped with Gatsby-inspired transparent white dotted shirts that give such a thrilling womanly look to a girl without overwhelming in details. The collection has a number of luxurious smooth and fine long dresses that are so feminine and yet never too bright.
The shades included in the collection are very light featuring mainly whites, sky-blues and greys. Some pieces could be perfect for bridesmaids, and the long white net-floral embellished dresses will look ideal even for a wonderful wedding on the beach. There are two pieces that we would like to mention separately: the first one is the extremely simple V-neck thin-strap black skinny dress that looks just amazing on the girl’s body – it is like you can smell the scent of a woman even through the picture. And the second one is the minimalist light grey X dress that has tiny symmetrical dots and mesh inserts on the neck: wearing this I imagine a princess or an extremely elegant woman that appears on a gathering and leaves everyone speechless.
This time Erin decided to go further in experiments creating a capsule collection of minaudières, which go perfectly with any of the numbers in the line. This is a witty step in business especially considering the fact that the brand is well-known and anticipated. The small bags are round, with gold mirror rims and words like “love” written on them.
The whole feeling of the Erin Fetherston spring 2019 collection is positive, breathtaking and romantic, which is the very thing you want to gain in spring. Even the hair and makeup of the models transfers the light breeze with the natural hairstyles, minimalist makeup and flawless skin. We can surely say that the experiments that Erin brought forth this time injected a fresh air to the style of her eponymous brand, and we dare her to go further, as she has the ultimate base for success – talent!

Erin Fetherston, the beautiful blonde San Franciscan, is one of the better fashion designers in the United States of America. At 33 years of age, she has managed to create a fashion house that can rival some of the biggest brands in the industry, after presenting her eponymous label for the first time in 2005 at the Paris Haute Couture shows. Her designs border on whimsical, are utterly feminine and quite romantic for the most part, traits that have earned the designer a faithful following. It is the eighth year in a row that Fetherston has begun showcasing her ready to wear pieces on the New York Fashion Week runways, having quickly become a beloved staple on the catwalk. Taking her career quite seriously, she has also taken on the role as a guest designer and creative consultant for the lifestyle brand known as Juicy Couture.
With a collection full of black and white numbers, it was a welcome distraction to see some gold also find its way into the line, while the red pieces added just enough accents to ensure the romantic element is not lost from theErin Fetherston fall/winter 2015-2019 collection. Thinking of it in terms of stones, we have splashes of garnet, of sapphire and topaz, against ivory and onyx backdrops. The pieces seemed to be inspired by woodland fairies that could look as chic and polished as these pixies. There are two contrasting moods apparent here, one which channels the structured and ladylike designs, while the other is lighter and a lot more feminine.
We see Fetherston’s work in creating cotton guipure lace, shimmering jacquards and incorporating both airy organza and lustrous silks. We have the whimsical flared frocks and the more elegant gowns. They look incredibly sweet and utterly her style, while certainly having us dreaming about such lovely designs moving against our bodies as we head out on a date or even a trip to the Caribbean.
There was a bit of girlish innocence overall, as if the woman has kept to her air of untouched mystery, while sophistication marks her every garment and she enjoys the feel of ruffle-front blouses, lace tops, and high waist trousers. We fell in love with the gorgeous zigzag hemmed sapphire lace mini dress, complete with strappy little sandals that showed off the legs to the max, while we found ourselves mesmerized by the lace on guipure mix, as well as the silhouetted created by the full length frocks that showed off every curve while hiding away any imperfections. We do expect to see the final piece on the red carpet as its simple but sophisticated design will surely have many a star struck by the allure, showing off skin from behind the lace on a gown that has a high round neckline, curves in at the shoulders slightly and encompasses the female figure with such ease, as if made specifically for her. The strict chignon from a center part and dewy, gently made-up look will certainly help make waves at any event this piece is worn to.

Lovers of the feminine and the delicate couldn’t probably be more happy aboutErin Fetherstone‘s return to fashion catwalk. The designer who had been missing from runways and fashion shows for several seasons, has admitted to have missed the vibe the fashion shows bring out in a collection. “I was looking at old videos of my shows, and feeling nostalgia for how beautiful things are in motion. I wanted to see the models bring them to life again”, said Erin before herErin Fetherston spring/summer 2015 collectionwas showcased on the catwalk atNew York Fashion Week.
The Erin Fetherston spring/summer 2015 collection was an epitome of elegance and effortless simplicity. Generally speaking, it was a unique parade of the contrast between black and white, with a few exceptions here or there. The Erin Fetherston spring 2015 collection started with very simple and refined and delicate pieces. We saw a white neoprene crop top paired with matching figure hugging maxi pencil skirt, the hems of which were adorned with subtle floral prints in delicate green and pink. The same print was also seen on a white A line sleeveless skirt. Little black shorts made of satin were paired with white tunic in floral prints, with a see-through jacquard or with a simple black tee with an inscription that said “Charmed”. Keeping the contrast of black and white in action, Fetherston combined a black sleeveless cropped top and a V-neck blouse with a transparent lacy pencil skirt worn over high waisted shorts. A gorgeous collared knee-length A line dress looked crisp and smart; a gray sleeveless sheath dress looked gorgeous under a lace long sleeved one, the conjunction of a cropped lacy top with a lacy pencil skirt was divine one.
During the second part of the show, the already classic contrast of black and white gave way to shiny, patterned yellows: short pants with a matching jacket, a V-neck sleeveless A line dress with a small cutout on the front, a collared cropped top with matching shorts, off-shoulder shift dresses were all there. The end of the show brought to us magnificent collared dark blue sleeveless dresses and combinations of figure hugging maxi dresses and cropped tops, again with collars. These were sprinkled with butterflies and florals and looked rather fresh and mood brightening.
The footwear that most of the time was hidden under long dresses and skirts, mainly consisted of simple, white pointed toe pumps. The hair of the models was pulled back in simple buns, and some of the models were wearing delicate and thin headbands. White frame sunglasses also complemented some of the looks.
The new Erin Fetherston spring/summer 2015 collection was fresh, light and sexy with touches of effortless glamour, it was everything her fans love, everything for which she is so appreciated by them!

If you have looked through all of the cruise 2015 collections presented so far and you are still missing that special something you need, the brand newErin Fetherston resort 2015 collectionmight have that! Hardly can we find this kind of great and blindingly successful interpretations of minimalistic touches, joint with the traditional design details and finished off with the modern twist, of course. Still, this collection does have all that with the form of the conglomeration of the best and the chicest in one line.
That’s how we can describe the opening look of the Erin Fetherston resort 2015 collection, coming with the cool design of the tea length dress, adorned with long sleeves and covered with some charming floral prints, looking completely cute on the dark background and the nice form of the dress. The more scrupulous and sophisticated designs come with the duo of the top and the A-line skirts, which combine the ethereal black and white shade play into some tiny and meticulous cell-like patterns, still preserving that minimalistic vibe nicely.
The sophisticated shapes come right after, put with some delicate and subtle fabrics picked for an all-white look, coming with transparency plays and again keeping the feel of simple chic, with details like cropped sleeves and strictly put knee length for the A-line skirt. The following dress comes as the diversified option of the first variant, this time having the squared neckline and the flare finish for the hems of the skirt.
Going even further with these alternatives, the Erin Fetherston resort 2015 collection also features the floor length version of those catchy florals, coming with the long sleeves and the upper bateau neckline, finished with the slightly outlined A-line. Other gorgeous forms present combos of black and white, made up with a white sleeveless and weightless top and a flare maxi skirt of black shade made of some chic and cool fabrics with shimmery finishes.
The cool mini and knee length alternatives of the A-line and flare skirts also manage to catch our attention in this array. The total stunner, however, comes further, designed with the to-die-for strapless dress joining the shades of pure white with pearl blue into ombre design. The interference of red for the following strapless dress, which comes with a more relaxed shape is also noteworthy especially when coming with the plays with white for girly looks like the flare mini dress adorned with a big plunge cut on the back.
The Erin Fetherston resort 2015 collection is, in fact, a great thing for you to give it a try, and we do advise you to include some of these romantic and cute pieces in your wardrobe to differ from the crowd and to shine out with your creative and cute looks!

This just makes us say WOW! The ultra-stunningErin by Erin Fetherston fall/winter 2014-2015 collectionintroduced duringNew York Fashion Weeksimply leaves us out of words and breathless! Hardly can we find any other collection having so much elegance, femininity, chic, and charm with it. However, we already have the first close ups of this amazing line, and here we are scrutinizing the looks with all the details.
So the Erin by Erin Fetherston fall/winter 2014-2015 collection starts with a cute little black dress, reading a text print “Charmed”. It’s hard to tell who is charmed more, the beauty sporting the dress or us! The second wonder of the collection comes right after, presented with super scrupulous floral lace patterns put all over the girly shape of that pinky strapless dress of tea length. The luxurious golden lace used for the black and body-con option impresses us just as much as its predecessors.
The minimalistic vibes applied to the following black and white piece blow our minds ever further! This refers to the next floral printed look, too. Another little black dress can be found going on with the looks, and this time, it is designed with a very cute boat-neck, sleeveless shapes, and flare options for the bottom, finished with the small black bow.
The greenish dress with a sweetheart neckline, and the following creamy alternative do not lag behind with their creativity and chic, either. Neither do the following red, blue, and black forms of the mini dresses. The top luxurious looks are further reflected with some more pieces, one of which is the absolutely to-die-for greenish yellow floor-length dress, having the scrupulous lace patterns put all over for maximum chic.
The nice transparency plays we saw for the following mini dresses also deserve to be included in the most impressives’ list. Finally, it’s the sumptuous strapless and then the sleeveless floor-length miracles that enchant us later, finished with the classy black option adorned with some sequined transparencies for the top part.
