Primark Menswear: SS13 Collection
Primark SS13 Collection
The winter season, for many, is a reflective time in which you make resolutions and review the year just passed. In contrast, summer tends to be full of new, exciting adventures and travels – so it’s no wonder that our clothes become more adventurous and exotic during the spring/summer months.
FashionBeans loves designer clothing and those staple pieces that will last for seasons to come, but when shopping for high fashion that is ‘on trend’ it is sometimes best not to invest in high price points. Surprisingly for some, Primark has become a go-to destination for those trend and statement pieces that allow you to have some fun with your look and personal style.
The affordable price of their clothing allows you to make bold style choices that you won’t feel guilty about a few months down the line. Primark is certainly the place to invest in those fleeting trends that are here for just one or two seasons – and luckily for us, they already have all the major upcoming SS13 trends ready and waiting this spring.
From the recently released lookbook, it is clear to see that on point tropical prints feature heavily, with a fun parrot print knit and more muted tropical floral sweaters. There are also several statement caps to choose from, which is an easy way to inject life into an otherwise basic summer look. Denim is either acid washed or treated to a camouflage makeover (that trend is definitely staying put for 2013), but our favourite piece from the collection is the camo bomber jacket – a snip at £25.
With the collection dropping from January onwards, we can’t think of a better or more cost effective way of banishing the January blues (and that Christmas hangover) than revitalising your SS13 wardrobe on a budget.
